Welcome to the Greensboro Montessori School

We look forward to working with you as you complete your child’s application for admission.

Choosing where to send your child to school is one of the most important decisions that you will make for him or her. No brochure or document can answer all of your questions or provide a complete understanding of the dynamic and unique qualities of a school that encompasses infants through eighth graders.  Each family will have particular interests as it attempts to determine the appropriate program for its child, and each school will have particular strengths that emerge from its philosophy, tradition, and current structures.  We work hard to match the needs of the family to the strengths and values of the school.

Our application process is intended to help families and the school gain the insight needed to make this important decision.  We ask all new parents to attend a special open house before applying for admission.  This brief presentation is designed to acquaint parents of prospective candidates with the Montessori philosophy and its implementation in the classroom through the Montessori method.  You will have the opportunity to observe children at all program levels from Infants to Middle School to understand the comprehensive and cohesive nature of The Greensboro Montessori School.
