Ways to Give

Educating a child at The Greensboro Montessori School requires a talented and well-trained faculty, a rich curriculum that engages the whole child, and the generous involvement of parents.  At GMS, we encourage parents, grandparents and special friends, and our alumni to actively participate in the daily life at our School with their time, talents and financial support beyond annual tuition.

Because GMS is a non-profit, independent school, we receive no financial support  from federal, state, or local governments.  Our only sources of income are tuition, charitable gifts, and some income earned from special activities.  Like all independent schools, GMS must raise additional funds beyond tuition revenue to bridge the gap between revenue and actual cost  of providing the best possible educational opportunities for our students.

We encourage every GMS family to play an active role in our school community.  GMS relies on the support and involvement of our entire community – including parents, grandparents, trustees, alumni, past parents and friends, faculty and staff.  Through volunteer opportunities, special events and fundraising efforts, GMS offers many ways to get involved.

The Greensboro Montessori School is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization and all donations are tax deductible to the extent provided by law.
