Our Weekly Camps are listed below and sorted by age group from youngest to oldest (versus chronologically). Click on the links below to jump directly to a specific Weekly Camp and access its online registration link. If you prefer to register in person, you may also download our Weekly Camps information sheet and complete, print, sign and return the registration form on the second page. Hard copies of the Weekly Camps information sheet are also available the front office.


Art Camp

Greensboro Montessori School Art CampAges 3 to 5
Two weekly sessions of art for fun with a focus on some of our youngest students. Come ready to get messy and explore art mediums such as paint, fabric, clay and much more. Campers will experience art outside and also enjoy occasional water play. Led by Katherine Gwynn. All-inclusive camp fee is $155 per student, per session. Enrollment limited to 15 students per session.

Basketball with Coach D-Will

Basketball Camp at Greensboro Montessori School July 10-14 for ages 6 to 8 and July 24-28 for ages 9 to 11Ages 6 to 11
Join Coach Donell Williams (known on campus as Coach D-Will) for one of two age-appropriate basketball camps in the School’s gymnasium. Coach will work individually with each camper on elite skills and drills while also leveraging the sport to uncover meaningful life lessons. All-inclusive camp fee is $155 per student, per session.

Montessori Market

Montessori Market at Greensboro Montessori School July 31 to August 5Ages 9 to 14 (current enrollment at Greensboro Montessori School is a required to participate in this camp)
Campers learn to prepare food and crafts to sell at the Greensboro Farmers Curb Market the Saturday following camp. Campers pick produce from the School’s gardens to make pesto, jams, breads and more. They also make crafts such as garden art, rain sticks, crocheted hats, scarves and rosemary skewers. Led by Mary Jacobson and Kristy Ford. All-inclusive camp fee is $255 per student.

Trailblazers

Trailblazers at Greensboro Montessori School June 19-23 and July 31-August 4
 Ages 10 to 14
Back by popular demand, Trailblazers will take campers on a journey through our state parks. Students will hike up and down mountains; cool off in rivers, lakes and waterfalls; and learn survival skills, which apply to outdoors and practical life situations. Session I led by Jonathan McLean and former Greensboro Montessori School faculty, Morgan Kratovil. Session II led by John Archambault and Morgan Kratovil. All-inclusive camp fee is $335 per student, per session.

Create with Technology

Create with Technology at Greensboro Montessori School June 26-July 28
 
Ages 11 to 18
Students will create an original work using the creative process and the School’s vast array of industry-standard technology. The work will be decided upon by camp participants and could be a feature-length film, musical, theatrical play, etc. Students will access to programs such as Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, LEGO robots, and littleBits to create a viable work or works of art. There will be a premiere of the creative work(s) at the conclusion of this four week camp. Led by Jonathan McLean. All-inclusive camp fee is $665 per student.
