Our Weekly Camps are listed below and sorted by age group from youngest to oldest (versus chronologically). Click on the links below to jump directly to a specific Weekly Camp and access its online registration link. If you prefer to register in person, please visit the Front Office with a check written to "Greensboro Montessori School" for the amount of your desired camp.


Week in the Woods

Primary Students
This popular Primary camp is back! Daily from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Campers will play in the woods while learning humans' basic needs: shelter, food, water, clothing, and self-expression. They will sew, paint, build, make music, create basic clothing, and more. Campers must be toilet trained to enroll. Led by Catherine Froelich and Kaki Keyser. All-inclusive camp fee is $175 per student.

Montessori Market

Lower and Upper El Students
Campers learn to prepare food and crafts to sell at the Greensboro Farmers Curb Market the Saturday following camp. Campers pick produce from the School’s gardens to make pesto, jams, breads and more. They also make crafts such as garden art, rain sticks, crocheted hats, scarves and rosemary skewers. Led by Mary Jacobson and Kristy Ford. All-inclusive camp fee is $200 per student.

Trailblazers

Upper El and Junior High Students
Back by popular demand, Trailblazers will take campers on a journey through our state parks. Students will hike up and down mountains; cool off in rivers, lakes and waterfalls; and learn survival skills, which apply to outdoors and practical life situations. Led by John Archambault and former Greensboro Montessori School faculty, Morgan Kratovil. All-inclusive camp fee is $335 per student.

Trailblazers Extreme

Upper El and Junior High Students
Trailblazers Extreme will take campers on a second, more challenging tour of our state parks. Students will hike up and down mountains; cool off in rivers, lakes and waterfalls; and learn survival skills, which apply to outdoors and practical life situations. Led by John Archambault and former Greensboro Montessori School faculty, Morgan Kratovil. All-inclusive camp fee is $335 per student.

Create with Technology

Rising Sixth Graders and Junior High Students
Students will create an original work using the creative process and the School’s vast array of industry-standard technology. The work will be decided upon by camp participants and could be a feature-length film, musical, theatrical play, etc. Students will have access to programs such as Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, LEGO robots, and littleBits. There will be a premiere of the creative work(s) at the conclusion of this four-week camp. Led by Jonathan McLean. All-inclusive camp fee is $750 per student.
