Erin Carmola will be increasing her teaching responsibilities in the 2017-18 school year as she takes over language arts instruction for 7th - 9th grades and teaches novel studies for all of the upper school, 4th - 9th grades. Her degree in English Education, her masters in Library and Information Science, her Montessori Secondary Education Program (ages 12 - 18, in process), and her already strong partnership and relationships with the upper school faculty and students makes her a natural fit to teach language arts in the upper school. Erin will continue to coordinate the library program in partnership with teachers from all divisions and support upper elementary 6th grade students in their Transitions and Wellness program.
